Saving a Route to Your Profile

Every route on hikenwa.org has a link that opens it directly in Komoot, which is usually the easiest way to find what you’re looking for since our own filters are easier to use than Komoot’s built-in search. You can also browse our whole route library right inside the app—in the app, tap Profile, tap Following, tap Hike NWA, and scroll down to Saved Routes, which lists everything we’ve mapped.

To save a route to your own profile, under your own Saved Routes:

The screenshots below are small on purpose. Tap or click any of them to view it full size.

Routes shared in a Facebook event work too. Tap the route link in the event, tap the three dots in the top right corner, and choose Open in External Browser, and it will open directly in the Komoot app, ready to save the same way.

Once the route is saved, it should appear under your own Profile in the Saved Routes section. When you’re ready to navigate, just go there, click the route, and click Navigate.
